Any vapers?

Any ex-smoker vapers here?

This is a page on my website that I wrote when I started this.

I tried 'vaping' but it was horrible, I quit using patches, it easy. Staying off is the hard bit, I stopped nearly three years, went back a while, stopped again nine months, started again, been stoped three months again lol! I know some people can't cope with patches because of skin issues.

I'm real close to 6 months now. I've found the E-Cigarette Forum to be a great place of knowledge and nice, helpful folks. I certainly hope you can find a route that works for you! Good Luck!

Good on ya!

A good friend of mine who smoked for at least 30 years did the 'vapin' (is that a word?) thing for a couple of years but even quit that about 5 months ago. He's completely "smoke/vape-free" and lovin' it.

Good luck,
Kevin

LESS than of that on Vaping.

Happy Turkey and/or Ham Day!

....the doctors footsteps coming down the corridor last summer were spooky as hell....I was waiting to be told if I had lung cancer or not. The first thing he said was 'your lungs are clear' ...relief! I do have moderate COPD though so stopped I must remain!

Hey there, Seawitchartist! Nice to 'see' you once more. The forum in the post I've quoted above may provide some helpful answers for you. I hope so, and that you remain healthy as can be, no matter which path you choose to follow!

Not a cent spent for the last 92 days.
On vaping I've spent only around of the
$2,666 that I haven't spent on the 9,059* cigarettes that I haven't smoked.
I could've put 6.6 ounces of tar into my lungs, but haven't..
another vape day

More years ago than I care to think about a grade school teacher, and former smoker even then, said to us mush-brains on a hot day: "See the tar oozing off the parking lot? Go out there, grab a handful and stuff it in your lungs. That's part of what smoking does to you." Pretty graphic.

Kinda funny/strange though. Vaping has become "cool" with kids these days (a phrase I hated when I was a kid ) -- even for those who have never smoked a cigarette. My almost 20-year-old nephew* is one. His mom (my sister) is apoplectic about it.

* He's almost 20 years old, not almost my nephew!
