Nero 8 & 8x DVD+R DL Media

I can burn data & movies to any other media I have tried, but I can't get it to burn to the above Memorex DVD+R DL discs.

IF the "other media" you can burn movies to successfully is not dual layer, then that would suggest something is wrong with the laser in the drive or a defective batch of DL disks.

This problem is posted all over the Internet and there seems not to be one solution for all issues. It's apparantly not a new problem. Solutions have ranged from replacing the drive, cleaning the laser, uninstalling/reinstalling drive, enabling DMA (if disabled), disabling DMA (if enabled), and giving up and using another brand of disk that doesn't throw that exception when burning.
